What Does This Warranty Cover?
This Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in wheels purchased from authorized dealers or distributors.
What Does This Warranty Not Cover?
Wheels manufactured before January 1, 2007
Steel wheels
Transportation to or from the dealer, distributor or manufacturer to get warranty service, loss of time, loss of use, towing charges, bus fare, car rentals or other incidental damages
Mounting or balancing charges
The cost of replacing or repairing other property which is damaged when a wheel is defective or other consequential damages
Repaired wheels
Cosmetic irregularities
With respect to bead lock wheels, this warranty does not cover stripped bolts or bolt holes due to over tightening
Damage to wheel or machine, caused by lug nuts coming loose due to improper torque or fitment, for your machine. It is the owner’s responsibility to torque the lug nuts to the recommended specifications outlined in your owner’s manual. We further recommend that you check the torque on your lug nuts often.
Who is Covered?
This Warranty covers only the original purchaser of the tire. Proof of purchase is required.
What is the Period of Coverage?
With the exceptions noted, this Warranty remains in effect for TWO YEARS from the date of
purchase.
How Do You Get Service?
This Warranty covers only the original purchaser of the wheel. Proof of purchase is required.
What Will Void this Warranty?
With the exceptions noted below, this Warranty remains in effect for the lifetime of the wheel. The Warranty on the coating on chrome-plated aluminum wheels remains in effect for a period of ninety (90) days from the date the wheel was purchased. The Warranty on painted or powder coated aluminum wheels remains in effect for a period of one year from the date the wheel was purchased.
What Will We Do to Correct Problems?
We will only replace a defective wheel with a new ITP/Carlstar wheel of the same size and type up to a maximum of four (4) replacement wheels for each vehicle.
How Do You Get Service?
To obtain warranty adjustments or warranty information contact your Carlstar Customer Care Unit at 1-800-260-7959 or by email at “[email protected].” Claims must be made within 30 days of discovery of irregularity. Carlstar reserves the right to inspect all products before making adjustments.
What Will Void this Warranty?
This Warranty is void if:
The maximum wheel load capacity is exceeded;
Attachments, lug nuts or other hardware not compatible with product is used:
Damage or failure due to modifications to the products (drilling, machining, etc.)
Overloading or introduction to a vehicle service profile inconsistent with the intended application of the wheel (for example, and not by way of limitation, if a wheel intended for an ATV fitment is used on a Trailer, even if the loading is within the defined range
OTHER THAN AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THIS WARRANTY, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NO REPRESENTATIVE OF CARLSTAR HAS THE AUTHORITY TO MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR PROMISES EXCEPT AS STATED HERE.

This includes fabrication, powder coating, packaging, and other preparation. In the event that Lead Times are delayed you will be contacted via email or phone call.
Lead Times DO NOT include shipping transit times.
All parts will be shipped as soon as possible after the initial Lead Time using your selected shipping method.
What Is The Difference In Wheel Offsets And Bolt Patterns, We Have It Broken Down For You:
Unsure which wheel offset to go with, or concerned with width gain? You’re not alone. Some of the most frequent questions we get when it comes to wheels, is about offsets – did you know that for most machines, wheel offset is a preference, not a requirement? This will help you better understand wheel offsets, and choose the best wheel for your ride.
Since 7” wide wheels dominate the market, our explanation focuses on that size wheel.
Some wheel manufacturers list offsets using the metric system and others list in our American equivalent.
METRIC SYSTEM – TRUE OFFSET
Offsets listed in millimeters refer to the distance between the mounting plate and the centerline of the wheel. This is what we consider “True Offset”. This measurement will be stamped in the back of your wheels as ET (another term used to describe wheel offset).
Common True Offsets: +40mm, +38mm, +30mm, +10mm, +5mm, +0mm, -47mm.
AMERICAN EQUIVALENT – INDUSTRY OFFSET
When wheel offset measurements are listed in our American equivalent, the first number indicates the “backspacing” (the distance from the back bead to the wheel mounting plate) and the second number indicates the distance from the mounting plate to the outer bead of the wheel (also known as the “Industry Offset”).
Common Industry Offsets: 6+1, 5+2, 4+3, and 2+5.
For example, a 5+2 offset means there is 5” from the back/inner bead to the mounting plate, 2” from the mounting plate to the outer bead. Pictured to the right is an illustration of this.
The chart below converts Metric measurements into the closest corresponding American measurement and will help you better understand what each offset will add to your stance over your factory wheels.
NOTE: Width gain is not given in exact measurement. Actual width gain can vary by machine and wheel manufacturer, but generally falls into these ranges:

Information About Bolt Patterns:
Most bolt patterns are stated in millimeters and there are 25.4 millimeters in one-inch. So If you measure with a tape measure in inches, you can convert to metric millimeters by multiplying (inches x 25.4), or you can easily find an online converter with a quick Google search.
HOW TO MEASURE BOLT SPACING
- For a 4-bolt wheel: remove your stock wheel and measure diagonally opposing stud bosses (center-to-center). Example spacings: 4/110mm; 4/115mm; 4/137mm; 4/156mm
- For a 5-bolt wheel: remove your stock wheel and measure diagonally opposing stud, bosses (from the back of one boss-to-the-center of the opposing boss). Example spacings: 5/114.3
- For a 3-bolt (ATV) wheel: remove your stock wheel. This one requires you to create a virtual circle (diameter) through the center of all three bosses. The bolt spacing is the distance across the middle of the diameter.
